Context
Written as a short screenplay study in contained space, withheld information, and the emotional charge of audio evidence. The goal is to make silence feel active rather than empty.
The theatre is empty except for the sound booth, where a small red light keeps insisting that something is still being captured.
Mara stands in the aisle and listens to the tape again. Her brother says the voice belongs to their father. Mara says the voice belongs to whoever needed him most.
Outside, snow presses against the glass doors with the patience of a crowd waiting for a verdict.
